Steering group

The administration of the FRONTLINE HIV forum is governed by the Steering Group. Projects are organised and run by various working groups made up of members of the Forum, and are accountable to the Steering Group.

FRONTLINE HIV Forum members are currently engaged in a number of streams of work, in the form of patient-led projects, working in association St Stephens AIDS Trust and the Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust, and documents for each project are stored under the respective working groups:

  • "HIV and Ageing" - This project will survey patients from all three clinics who are 50yrs of age and older, with a view to gather evidence of ongoing health concerns for a rapidly-aging HIV population and hopefully help to deliver changes in treatment practises to London and the wider UK environment for those of us approaching (or already a part of) the 50+ age group.
  • Patient Satisfaction Survey - hopefully soon to be in place - will be based on surveys run by our good friends from the Wharfside Patient's Forum1. By association with other HIV patient groups' surveys, the hope is ultimately to deliver an overview of HIV services across London and UK - as seen from the patients / service-user perspective.

If you wish to become involved with any of these projects, please contact us and let us know. We are a strong group, but are still few in number and we need your help.
